| MULTI-SEAL
Commercial Grade was developed by a NASA scientist almost two
decades ago as a flat preventative and maintenance aid for truck tires
used in general fleet, over-the-road operations. MULTI-SEAL Commercial Grade, when properly applied eliminates porosity leaks and other slow leaks that cause dangerous under-inflation. MULTI-SEAL Commercial Grade also seals up to 95% of punctures (as large as .25 inch) while dissipating heat. Thus, tread life is extended by 20 to 25%. The sealant, which is guaranteed for the life of the tire in regular us, remains a fluid. Once a puncture occurs, centrifugal force and the jet action of escaping air propel the sealant to the puncture. Fibers then adhere to the side of the puncture and instantly seal and leak. Air loss is minimal. As the tire flexes under load conditions, the multi-sized fibers and fillers compress to form a permanent plug. This process can occur dozens of times in a single tire-with-out the need for additional sealant! Under-inflation is the leading cause of premature tire wear. MULTI-SEAL Commercial Grade eliminates the slow leaks which lead to critical and costly under inflation. The resultant proper inflation not only extends tire life, but also increases fuel economy. |
